With an eye toward the global expansion of SHAPE Partners' business, we have opened an office in Singapore, the hub of the Asian market, as our first overseas base.

Our firm is a strategy professional firm that fully launched in January 2023, primarily consisting of alumni from major strategy consulting firms. Since our founding, we have focused on themes such as business strategy, marketing strategy, new business development, and organizational development across various industries, including consumer goods, entertainment, sports, healthcare, and media.

We have now opened SHAPE Global Partners in Singapore as our first overseas base. The name reflects our desire to support Japanese and local companies in "shaping" their future in Singapore, which serves as a hub for the Asian and global markets.

Background to the Opening of the Singapore Office

We recognize Singapore, as a hub for the Asian and global markets, is a region that will increasingly gain importance for Japanese companies. Specifically, we believe it can play a crucial role in expanding Japan-originated content globally, particularly in the entertainment and sports industries.

Based in Singapore, we will support the overseas business strengthening of Japanese companies and organizations, as well as the entry of local companies and organizations into the Japanese market, thereby serving as a bridge connecting Japan with Asia and the world.

Our Principal, Mr. Eisuke Tanaka, will assume the position of local representative. He intends to contribute to the further development of our clients by closely coordinating with the Japanese office.

Eisuke Tanaka Graduated from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Economics. After studying abroad at Stanford University and Nanjing University, he joined Boston Consulting Group. He handled numerous projects in areas such as mid-term management plan formulation, business strategy, M&A strategy, HR strategy, and DX for a wide range of domestic and international companies and organizations across various industries, including government agencies, sovereign wealth funds, telecommunications, advertising, house builders, and semiconductors. He joined SHAPE Partners in 2023 and primarily leads projects in the entertainment, sports, and consumer goods sectors.
