As SHAPE Partners continues to expand its involvement in the sports domain, we identified the need to provide management support that better aligns with the unique business practices of the Japanese sports industry. In addition, we aim to contribute to the development of sports through approaches that go beyond traditional consulting. These considerations led to the decision to spin off SHAPE Sports as a dedicated entity.

Going forward, SHAPE Sports will lead sports-related consulting engagements, while also actively developing and operating sports-related businesses within the group.

Takehiro Komamiya, currently COO of SHAPE Partners, has been appointed as Representative Director of SHAPE Sports. Working in close collaboration with SHAPE Partners, SHAPE Sports is committed to contributing to the continued growth and advancement of the Japanese sports industry.
