For the second consecutive year, SHAPE Partners was pleased to sponsor the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks Junior Team, a youth baseball team for fifth- and sixth-grade elementary school students, hereafter referred to as “Hawks Junior.”

Hawks Junior is formed each year with the goal of competing for the championship at the NPB Junior Tournament, an annual tournament for fifth- and sixth-grade students. The team is led by former SoftBank Hawks players who serve as managers and coaches.

The NPB Junior Tournament was established by Nippon Professional Baseball and its 12 professional teams to help children experience the dream of becoming a professional baseball player.

The Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks actively promote baseball development, particularly in the Kyushu region, by providing young players with opportunities to challenge themselves at a higher level and by encouraging more children to aspire to careers in professional baseball.
