SHAPE Sports, a group company of SHAPE Partners, co-hosted a “Baseball × Agriculture” experiential program in collaboration with Pyrus Academy and our advisor, Kimiyasu Kudo

Pyrus Academy is a baseball academy that places importance on nurturing life skills by valuing the process of discussing with teammates, thinking independently, and playing the game, starting from a genuine desire to improve at baseball. In addition to baseball instruction, the academy emphasizes providing children with a variety of non-routine experiences to support their personal growth.

SHAPE Sports began collaborating with Pyrus Academy earlier this year. The decision to plan this program was driven by a shared philosophy between Pyrus Academy, SHAPE Sports, and Kudo of offering children opportunities to engage their five senses and encounter experiences and discoveries beyond their everyday routines.

Looking ahead, SHAPE Sports will continue to work closely with Pyrus Academy to expand the grassroots of baseball in Japan and to foster children’s life skills through the sport, while actively advancing related initiatives.
